Butter Nut Squash / Carrot Bhajis

No Indian dining experience is complete without a side crispy  onion bhajis, particularly when they’re home cooked! Give a harvest time turn a shot the exemplary  by including occasional squash and carrots. Pack with sharp red onions and fragrant Indian flavors for incredibly simple squanders that everybody will need to attempt.

Ingredients

200g peeled carrots, coarsely grated
150g peeled butternut squash, coarsely grated
1 large red onion, halved and finely sliced
4cm piece ginger, peeled and finely grated
½ red chilli, deseeded and finely diced
100g gram flour
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground turmeric, salt to taste
2 eggs, lightly beaten(optional)
vegetable oil, for frying
