Falafel is a typical Middle Eastern snack, usually served in a pita that serves as a pocket, or wrapped in a flatbread known as a tabou; “falafel” most sometimes refers to a wrapped sandwich that is prepared in this manner. The falafel balls are layered with salads, pickled vegetables, hot sauce, and drizzled with sauces based on tahini. Even, Falafel balls can be eaten by themselves as a snack.


  • 1 can (170 g) Tuna in Water, drained or 100g mince chicken or 1 cup chopped  mix veg like carrot and beans.
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 medium onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp each chopped fresh parsley and coriander leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 5 tbsp breadcrumbs
